A route around the world
Planning a route around the world has its challenges. It would be special to recreate the route of the iconic first Overland expedition, but conflict in a range of regions has limited this as an option. Thankfully, we've found a route that can deliver the distance, direction and variety that will not only enable the world record but will also make for epic adventure.
This route has been shaped not just by geography, but by narrative and challenge. Forest roads, long highway stretches, mountain terrain, changing weather, varied charging availability and border transitions all form part of the experience.

The Electric Overland is designed to show not just that a vehicle can move, but that a complex project can be carried across the world with thought, discipline and adaptability.

World Record
Criteria
This round-the-world circumnavigation in Evie, a fully electric 1955 Series 1 Land Rover, proving that heritage vehicles and low-carbon technology can travel together at global scale. The expedition will be planned around recognised round-the-world criteria, with the route, mileage, continents, charging, shipping and evidence carefully documented throughout.
